AT the moment I am in the process of moving house. Those of you who have moved house before will know the chaos one faces during such a venture.
You can't move for boxes and the 'to do' list steadily increases by the hour. The one thing I have discovered as I've begun to pack everything up and clear the junk out, is just how much stuff I've accumulated over the years.

I've found things I never even realised I had. It amazes me that one person can fill so many boxes.

Sometimes in life we don't realise just how much personal baggage we are carrying around with us. Time goes by and before we know it we have amassed a load of excess baggage.

Past hurts, regrets, and failings, guilt, shame and bitterness, all begin to weigh us down. God says that we are to bring all our cares and concerns to him for he cares intensely about us.

God wants us to be free from these things, he wants us to let him be our burden carrier, he is the God who forgives and says 'I will remember your wrongdoings no more', the God who says there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

How long are we going to live life with excess baggage? Why not give it over to God and let him carry it for you instead.
